Yumisuke Kotoyoshi is more famous in the West for his work on Saber Marionette J (the manga) which has also spawned Saber Marionette J (the movie). While Saber Marionette is a gorgeous series with beautifully designed and rendered characters, the style is not really very similar to Yumisuke Kotoyoshi’s own style. Yumisuke was only a supporting artist for the series. His own work is hi-quality gorgeous hardcore hentai featuring much sexier and more voluptuous smokin hot foxy anime babes than the Marionette crew, and this raunchy adult anime is what he’s most famous for in the East.

If you’re after some hardcore no-holds-barred extreme hentai manga (comic books) featuring nasty stuff like tentacled monster rape and bondage traps, then check out Midara. Yumisuke’s style oozes sex, the way he draws his girls just gets me right here. And when I say “right here” I’m grabbing my cock and balls.

If kicking back in front of a XXX anime porn movie is more your thing, then treat yourself to Cool Devices which will forever rule as a classic smorgasbord of anime hentai porn short films. Yumisuke was not only Character Designer but also Director of the incredible episode Operation 04: Kirei.

Its hard to imagine a Japanese artist as influential as Masamune Shirow. And not only is he an artist, he is a talented writer of complex multi-layered stories as well. Famous world-wide for creating landmark manga series that have gone on to inspire several feature film franchises, he has had an immeasurable impact on the world of anime as a whole, not to mention the hentai underworld itself!

Born Masanori Ota on November 23rd, 1961 in the Hyogo Prefecture of Kobe, Japan, Shirow’s artistic interest and talent was noticed early on in his life, during his earliest years of school. Taking a break during junior high and high school to pursue sports, he eventually returned to the world of art while he attended Osaka University of Arts. It was here that Shirow was introduced to manga, and it ignited him on fire. He began working on his own manga and at 22 years old he self-published Black Magic (1983) under the pseudonym “Masamune Shirow”, a name taken from a famous swordsmith.

Shirow’s manga came to the attention of Harumichi Aoki, president of a publishing firm in Osaka called “Seishinsha”, who signed Shirow on to do his first commercial manga. And so Appleseed (1985) was released, instantly considered a masterpiece of cyber-punk, a genre of anime featuring futuristic societies where technology has run amok. In 1986, the same year Shirow released Dominion, Appleseed won the Galaxy Award for the best sci-fi comic. Shirow’s engineering degree shows through in Appleseed‘s designs and artwork, from the city-of-the-future landscapes to the hulking mecha with stylistic yet functional design. The latter part of the ’80′s saw him putting out follow-up volumes of the smash hit Appleseed as well as Black Magic M-66 (1987), the first anime movie based on Shirow’s works and the only anime film Shirow really played a direct role in the production of. In 1988 both Appleseed and Dominion: Tank Police were made into anime movies, but Shirow was not very involved.

In 1991 Shirow released the hyper-surreal Orion, which was overshadowed that same year by the release of what is perhaps his crowning achievement: The Ghost in the Shell (GitS) manga. GitS is his best-known work, and for good reason. Expertly balancing blistering action with philosophical concepts concerning the ethical ramifications of merging humanity and technology, GitS explored fresh territory with intelligence and imagination. GitS has been extremely popular in both the east and the west, and has gone on to inspire two full-length movies: Ghost in the Shell (1995), and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004). The sequel to the original manga, Ghost in the Shell 2: Man/Machine Interface, was released in 2001. Shirow’s GitS manga has also spawned the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2003) TV series that is currently in its second season, as well as various merchandise and even video games.

In my opinion, some of Shirow’s best work has been released in a series of four absolutely gorgeous full-color illustration artbooks under the title Intron Depot. These artbooks chronicle his foray into the world of CG (Computer Graphics) where he is pushes the medium to its limits and is consistently breaking new ground. The first book is mostly a sci-fi themed collection of his work from 1981 to 1991. Intron Depot 2: Blades (1998) is fantasy-themed, featuring sexy female characters with armor and swords and other bladed weapons. The third artbook was released in 2003, and as the name suggests Intron Depot 3: Ballistics is military-themed, complete with battle-ready anime babes with big guns. Intron Depot 4: Bullets (2004) collects his work between 1995 to 1999 and the subject matter mostly showcases Shirow’s designs for characters, mecha, and vehicle designs for video games.

Though he has published many books and manga, and his artwork is unmistakable and ultra-influential, not very much is known about the elusive Toshiki Yui. A pioneer of CG (Computer Graphics) who always stretches the medium to the limit (as you can see from this gallery), Yui is also a virtuoso with pencil, pen and paper.

Yui’s early work includes many sci-fi and horror short stories, collected under the title Yui Museum in 3 volumes. Most (if not all) of these stories were published under Yui’s pen-name “Katou Masaki”, as was Access Works (a collection of digital work) and Kurara Jack (also a 3 volume work). These early works are not hentai, but just about as good as anime art gets.

Yui is probably best known for Yui Shop, an ongoing collection of his erotic CG work (currently on its 4th volume), and for three popular hentai manga comics: Hot Tails, Misty Girl Extreme, and Wingding Orgy . These are undoubtedly the easiest works of his to find. A list of rarer works includes: Junction, @phere (Atmosphere), Significant, Princess Quest Saga, X 2 (Kakeru Ni), Kirara, Ikenai yo Yuukosan Nyuumonhen (Don’t Do That, Yuuko. Introductory Part), Ikenai yo Yuukosan Ouyouhen (Don’t Do That, Yuuko. Applied Part), IT, Hot Junction, Trouble Gemini, Kagome Kagome, Re Yui, and Suna no Kami, Sora no Hito (Sand God, Sky People).

Satoshi Urushihara is an incredible artist with a style that is immediately recognizable. Perhaps no other artist captures the very hot and steamy essense of bishoujo (beautiful girl) hentai quite like he does. His girls have lithe, supple bodies with juicy bouncy breasts and gorgeous pussies that have something about as rare as an honest politician: pubic hair! Pubes are definitely a rarity in hentai since until recently in Japan they were forbidden to be shown at all in art, or in anything else for that matter! Simply showing pubes is enough to get the mosaic censorship treatment in a lot of live action Japanese porn movies, as pubes are considered “offensive” in mainstream Japan. I find this interesting, since the alternative to showing pubes on hentai anime adults in adult situations has been showing NO pubes… and the hairless pussies are taken by many people to mean that the characters may be pre-pubescent and not of censensual age! I believe that most Western culture frowns MORE on statutory rape than they do on possession of pubes… this is why anime characters that look too young (and too muff-less) to be in adult situations is one of the common complaints from opponents of hentai. I find it intriguing that this Japanese attempt to be more decent is interpreted by Western culture as less decent. Ah, when cultures collide…

Whew, got a little sidetracked there. Alright, born on February 9th, 1966, in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan, Satoshi Urushihara is a master of drawing very detailed nipples that practically pop off the page, begging to be sucked. He is also a master of drawing realistic pubic hair, giving his girls a sexy raw life-like magnetism that most other hentai girls just can’t compete with. But not only does he paint incredibly fucking sexy hentai girls, he is also an industry-leading character designer. He is responsible for the awesome character designs in the ecchi anime movie classics Plastic Little and Legend of Lemnear which are required anime viewing in my estimable opinion.

I myself am the proud owner of Venus, an art book collection by Satoshi Urushihara that I bought because I read very good reviews about it. I must say that this book makes my nuts so fat I can’t sit! It gives me such a big boner I can’t walk either! All I can do is just look at it over and over again. It has fully nude uncensored images from Legend of Lemnear, Chirality, Plastic Little, Nora and also game characters like Chun-Li and Cammy from Capcom’s Street Fighter. There is a definite “fantasy” flavor to many of these images (maybe that’s part of the reason why they really get me going… you know how I love the fantasy/sci-fi/horror themed anime!). Venus is fairly rare, if you can’t find it then U:Collection is probably your best bet.

Be sure to check out the Satoshi Urushihara gallery and marvel at how beautiful, bosomous, and bushy his bishoujo babes are!

Incredibly talented illustrator and character designer Katsuya Terada was born on December 7, 1963 in the town of Tamano (Okayama). His detailed and technical yet softly organic art style has garnered him an international following that has led to work on such high profile projects such as the highly acclaimed anime film Blood: the Last Vampire, Nike’s White Dunk campaign, Playstation 2 video games, and Dark Horse’s upcoming BMW comic series, The Hire. Additionally, Terada’s rendering of Hellboy was used to make the popular Hellboy soft vinyl figure produced by Dark Horse.

Terada cites several influences on his unique east-meets-west style, in particular European artists such as Moebius. He defines himself as an artist of “rakugaki”, a practice of drawing anywhere, anytime, without reflecting too much. This style of drawing can be seen in his 1000 page collection of sketches Rakugaking.

Being the hopeless pervert I am, I am drawn to Katsuya Terada’s smuttier work. While I’ve never seen full on hardcore pieces that could be called “hentai” in the strictest sense, he does have some jaw-droppingly sexy ecchi anime art work that makes him one of my favorite artists ever. His unique style of faces (especially lips) is instantly recognizable and gives his girls undeniably strong allure and sex appeal. The work that best captures this naughty side of Katsuya Terada is his ultra-rare Cover Girls box set, of which I am the proud owner. And let me tell you, it is incredible and easily one of my most prized possessions. If you can’t find the elusive box set, then check out the Cover Girls Portfolio, which captures some of the best Katsuya Terada babes in high-quality hangable pictures. Also, be sure to click on the picture above of the pretty pirate girl with the creamy white breasts to see a gallery which features many of the gorgeous pinups of the Cover Girls that you’d give your left nut to fuck.

If you’d prefer a story to go along with your art, check out Rakuda Wa Warau, but beware… this graphic novel is fuckin violent! And if violence is what you’re into and don’t care about the sex, then Saiyukiden Daienou (Monkey King) might just be up your alley!

As you might have noticed, I don’t give artists actual numerical ratings. This is because they are PEOPLE. I don’t rate people, I only rate media like movies, web sites, and galleries. But I can say that if I were to rate individual pieces of artwork, I would give Katsuya Terada’s pirate girl painting a 10. Terada is an astounding artist who has mastered both concrete technique and also that ethereal unquantifiable quality that gives living, breathing soul and spirit to a painting.

Not much is known about this mysterious Japanese artist, except that he is a fucking MASTER of character design and several different artistic disciplines. His boundless creativity and wittiness is evident in his pin-ups, which are likely to consist of a buxom sexy pale goth/punk anime babe adorned in spikes and perhaps morphed with an animal or food product in a clever way to play on words or archetypes. Yasushi Nirasawa’s technique and imagination raises character design to the ultimate level and demands the viewers utmost awe. The striking intense colors in his work attack the eye with a futuristic cyber-punk porn sensory overload. Click here to see art samples

Also a sculptor, Nirasawa has made countless and incredible one-of-a-kind sculptures. These are most likely too rare and expensive to acquire for the average fan, but don’t despair! Fewture Models has released toy lines based on his sculptures which aren’t too hard to find and fit just about any budget. These toys are definitely NOT FOR CHILDREN, they are adults-only because they feature full nudity mixed with grotesque horror. Yasushi Nirasawa’s Devil Man toy line is based on the amazing Devil Man anime series by Go Nagai (Devil Lady, Cutey Honey, Getter Robo). Fewture also carries Yasushi Nirasawa’s own line of uniquely designed toys which SCREAM his style. A different toy company, Yellow Submarine, has released a line of Yasushi Nirasawa designs called "Resurrection of Monstress". These sexy figures are toned down a little bit from the Fewture offerings in that they are still quite sexy but they don’t feature nudity, and they’re also a little harder to find, but don’t let that stop you! If you are a horror afficionado you will LOVE these hentai figures. Each one is based on a movie monster, theres a werewolf wench, a Franken-slut, a vampy vampire, a cutie from The Black Lagoon, and more! Nirasawa has nearly outdone himself in character designing these toys to be every horror fans wettest dreams.

Yasushi Nirasawa is one of Hentai Reviewer’s all-time most bestest favoritest artists ever, and we give him our highest rating!
