Now, I’m not a snob when it comes to dubs vs subs. I will watch either, I don’t have much of a preference unless either the dub or the sub sucks. But in this case, unless you’re violently opposed to subs, I strongly suggest you avoid the dub. It really isn’t done well at all, the voices are cheesy, they don’t fit the mood and the movie loses a lot of impact. The DVD has both the dubbed version and subbed version and I’ve watched them both. This review is based on the subbed version, if you watch the dubbed version you should knock off a point or two from my overall rating, depending on how deaf you are.
